Terms of use
Effective 9 October 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses YesStudy: institutes, their owners and teachers, and students. YesStudy is run by [Legal name of the business running YesStudy — to be confirmed]. By using YesStudy you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What YesStudy is
A service that turns a teacher’s class material into short quizzes for their batch, with results for teachers and owners and an AI tutor, Aria, for students. Teachers review and approve every quiz before students see it.
Accounts
- Institutes are set up by YesStudy. Owners add their teachers; students join a batch with the code their institute gives them.
- Give accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Students under 18 may use YesStudy only with the agreement of a parent or guardian.
- An institute can remove its teachers and students. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Institutes’ responsibilities
- Make sure students (and, for students under 18, their parents or guardians) know about and agree to the use of YesStudy, as described in our privacy policy.
- Make sure teachers upload only material they are allowed to use for teaching, and no unnecessary personal information about anyone.
- Use students’ data only for their education at the institute.
Your content
Institutes keep ownership of the material their teachers upload and of the quizzes made from it. You give us permission to store and process that content only to provide YesStudy to your institute. We do not use one institute’s material for another institute without permission.
AI-generated content
Quiz questions, explanations and Aria’s answers are generated by AI and can contain mistakes. YesStudy checks numerical answers with an independent calculation and flags questions that may be wrong, but this does not catch every error. Teachers must review questions before sending them, and students should ask their teacher when something looks wrong. YesStudy supports teaching; it does not replace teachers, and it does not guarantee any exam score, rank or admission.
Acceptable use
Do not:
- Use YesStudy to cheat in exams or to share quiz answers before they are released.
- Upload unlawful, abusive or harmful content, or material that infringes others’ rights.
- Try to access other institutes’ or users’ data, disrupt the service, or get around its limits.
- Copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or use automated tools to extract data from it.
Fair-use limits
To keep YesStudy affordable, use is subject to limits, for example on how many quizzes can be generated and how many Aria messages can be sent each day. Limits may differ by plan and may change; the app tells you when one is reached.
Fees
Fees, if any, are as agreed in writing between YesStudy and the institute. Students are not charged by YesStudy unless clearly stated.
Availability and changes
We work to keep YesStudy available and secure but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we stop offering YesStudy, we will give institutes reasonable notice and a chance to export their data.
Ending use
You can stop using YesStudy at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if required by law.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, YesStudy is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in [City for courts, e.g. Pune, Maharashtra — to be confirmed] have jurisdiction.
